Senior Reconciliations Analyst

Join CMC Markets as a Senior Reconciliations Analyst and play a key role in ensuring the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Reconciliations Analyst to join our Client Asset Management Team within the Finance Department. As a Senior Reconciliations Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the workload of Client Asset Analysts, overseeing daily client asset reconciliations, and providing support to the Head of CAM in ensuring the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the workload of Client Asset Analysts and provide cover on absences
  • Oversee daily client asset reconciliations, including custody asset and client money
  • Assist in generating and maintaining client money policies
  • Provide support to the Head of CAM in enabling client asset regulatory change across CMC UK and the wider Group
  • Deal with client asset queries and be the primary contact on procedural queries
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good working knowledge of financial markets and related products
  • The ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex issues working to strict deadlines
  • A good working knowledge of operational cash management and reconciliations
  • IT competence, particularly MS Office (Advanced Excel and Word)
