Job Title: Senior Cash Reconciliation Specialist

Are you a seasoned professional with a strong background in cash and stock reconciliations? Do you have a proven track record of improving reconciliation processes and implementing change? We are seeking a Senior Cash Reconciliation Specialist to join our Investment Operations team in a West End based Asset Manager.

About the Role

  • Conduct cash and share reconciliations, on a rota with members of the Portfolio Administration team.
  • Identify and implement tactical changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reconciliations, including changes to booking practices.
  • Develop a target operating model for reconciliations, including reviewing current processes, scoping exercises, and recommending technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and implement changes to improve reconciliation processes.
  • Investigate and recommend technology solutions to facilitate the completion of reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cash and stock reconciliations, with a strong background in Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Custody.
  • Expert knowledge of reconciliation systems and how they interact with other systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate reconciliations and identify areas for improvement.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £85,000 - £93,600 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of working from home and in the office.
