Job Title: Financial Reconciliations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reconciliations Specialist to join our team at NextEnergy Capital Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reconciliations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly cash distribution model runs, coordinating with various teams to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Analyze and explain month-over-month movements in cash distribution forecasts, including budget vs. actual analysis
  • Identify and propose solutions for cash shortages, working closely with the debt management team to ensure compliance with debt covenant requirements
  • Calculate and report on trapped cash on a bi-annual basis
  • Ensure quarterly cash distributions from SPVs to HoldCo's and the Fund are accurate and compliant with debt facility requirements
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of process improvement and experience with automation tools
  • Fluent, advanced business-level English
  • Renewable energy experience a plus
