About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neonatal Physiotherapist to join our team as a Network Lead Allied Health Professional. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality neonatal care across London.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the implementation of recommendations from the National Neonatal Critical Care Review (NCCR) and the NHS Long Term Plan (2019) to enhance access to skilled Physiotherapists on neonatal units within the network.
  • Provide strategic input to ensure standardization of care across neonatal units, promoting best practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive education and training program for existing Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) within the network, fostering professional development and skill enhancement.
  • Establish clinical supervision groups to support AHPs in their practice, providing mentorship and guidance on complex cases.
  • Maintain your own clinical expertise through ongoing professional development and engagement with current research and advancements in neonatal physiotherapy.
