About the Role

Climax Studios, a leading creative force in independent games development, is seeking an experienced Visual Effects Artist to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for creating innovative visual effects that bring our games to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement realistic visual effects in Unreal Engine 4/5
  • Create and optimize material shaders and blueprints
  • Collaborate with our VFX programmers to ensure seamless integration
  • Critique and iterate on visual effects with the team
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our art style and pipeline
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of industry experience in VFX or a related field
  • Strong skills in Unreal Engine 4/5, Maya, and HoudiniFX
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your VFX work
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with iterative development and rapid game prototyping
  • Console development experience
  • Lighting skills
