About the Role

Exceptional Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people in our residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the creation of a stable and loving environment, ensuring each young person feels valued and supported.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, working collaboratively with the team to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices in residential child care.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or 4 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or equivalent.
  • 6-12 months' experience working with children in a residential setting.
  • Full UK manual driving license (desirable).
