We are seeking a skilled Pastry Junior Sous Chef to join our team at a luxury 5-star hotel in the West End. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence in our renowned restaurants, which have been awarded AA rosettes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Pastry Sous Chef in managing the pastry section, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement creative pastry dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a high level of service standards and consistency.
  • Participate in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on employee well-being and career advancement.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
