Job Title: Pastry Junior Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Junior Sous Chef to join our team at a luxury 5-star hotel in the West End. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence in our renowned restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of pastry chefs in the preparation and presentation of desserts and pastries
  • Develop and implement new dessert menus and recipes to enhance the dining experience
  • Ensure operational excellence in the kitchen, including inventory management and staff training
  • Collaborate with the head chef and other senior chefs to plan and execute special events and menus

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior pastry chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation, including creative and innovative techniques
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of quality in a fast-paced environment
