Job Title: Digital Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Designer to join our team at JD Group. As a Digital Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and on-brand visual content for all digital channels, ensuring consistency across all platforms and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Design and develop content for all digital channels, including website banners, promotional materials, social media content, and partner media.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling material from inception to delivery.
  • Email and Social Media: Collaborate with the Trading & Digital Marketing team to produce and optimize emails and achieve click-through rates of >20%.
  • Content Consistency: Work with the Multi-Channel and Content teams to ensure consistency of message across our various marketing channels.
  • Feedback and Support: Provide feedback to the Retail and Marketing teams to ensure consistency of experience across the offline and online channels, replicating business activity and campaigns.
  • Asset Development: Ensure that the Content team are supported with all assets required to drive social growth targets.
  • Conversion Optimization: Work with the Multi-Channel and Conversion teams to maximize onsite conversion, continually identifying, testing, and implementing improvements.
  • Website Development: Continually develop and improve the website and assist the Digital and Trading team in an optimization test program.
  • UX Design: Work with the UX Team to create a more effective and enjoyable experience for the customer.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors and key retail businesses to ensure best-in-class web practices.
  • Brand Consistency: Be passionate about the way we communicate to our customers through digital visual mediums.
  • Content Monitoring: Monitor all aspects of site content, including product copy and photography, to ensure the brand message is consistently communicated and offering direction and improvements where appropriate.
  • Coverage: Provide cover for other Outdoor fascias as required.

Requirements:

  • Digital Design Skills: Competent digital designer who can create engaging and on-brand visual content quickly and accurately using Adobe CS platforms.
  • Digital Asset Experience: Previous experience working with digital assets.
  • Workload Management: Excellent workload management to ensure deadlines are met and content published on time.
  • Sales Experience: Experience of selling product through marketing and/or retail sales (either B2C or B2B).
  • Email Design: Experience of designing responsive emails beneficial.
  • UX Design: Experience of UX design would be beneficial.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of or interest in the outdoors and outdoors products would be beneficial.
