Job Title: Copywriter

JD Group is seeking a skilled Copywriter to join our team. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating engaging copy across all touch points, adopting the brand tone of voice in all written communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop product descriptions for all categories, showcasing the unique features and benefits of our products.
  • Understand and adopt the JD tone of voice in all copy, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Write engaging blog posts to support marketing, product, and sport messages, highlighting the company's expertise and thought leadership.
  • Format blog copy into Wordpress using basic HTML, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Apply introductory SEO skills to optimize copy for search engines, improving the company's online visibility.
  • Craft compelling copy for CRM, including subject lines, email copy, push notifications, and message centre, to drive customer engagement.
  • Create engaging copy for paid channels, following strict word counts, to maximize ROI.
  • Improve rankings with new and updated Fredhopper copy, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level or equivalent, with a strong foundation in writing and communication.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a passion for writing.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively, while maintaining a high level of quality and managing workloads.
  • Organized and able to manage own workflow, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Clear articulation of ideas to line manager and other team members, with excellent communication skills.

  • GUI & Shogun training to enhance skills in content creation and management.
  • Fredhopper training to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • PRISM training to improve skills in content optimization and SEO.
  • Wordpress training to enhance skills in content management and publishing.
