Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to join our team at Wincanton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall management of stock, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cycle counting disciplines and produce analytical data from the results to identify trends and recommend corrective action.
  • Ensure the routines of layout maintenance, housekeeping processes, and health checks are completed in line with agreed schedules.
  • Document and regularly review stock procedures and processes to evidence compliance.
  • Deliver contractual Key Performance Indicators relating to stock management.
  • Manage customer stock loss to ensure the account is not over tolerance.
  • Ensure the Warehouse Management System and its associated administration consistently meet site and client expectations.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and mentor team members to ensure a flexible team with the ability to achieve KPIs.
  • Support system projects to ensure stock integrity is maintained.
  • Adhere to and follow Company policies/procedures, including Quality, Health, and Safety to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.

Requirements:

  • Stock management/relevant industrial experience.
  • People management skills and the ability to manage a team.
  • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • A strong financial understanding in an environment linked to stock.
  • Confident in the gathering, cleansing, and summarizing data for presentation in numerical and graphical reporting formats.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyze data.
  • A flexible and organized approach with the ability to prioritize workloads to meet tight deadlines.
