Warehouse Operative Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Handling Tasks: Complete several manual handling tasks, with and without the use of MHE, including rework.
- Stock Management: Ensure the picking, assembling, relocation, and despatching of stock is completed to the highest required standards.
- Goods Receipt and Unloading: Handle all aspects of goods receipt, unloading vehicles, and handling documentation.
- Accountability: Accountability for the timely and accurate distribution of stock and goods.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Carry out general housekeeping, stocktaking, and maintenance duties to ensure the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard.
- Health and Safety: Responsible for Health and Safety of themselves and other team members by adhering to safe working practices.
- Company Policies: Adhere to and follow Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Flexible and Professional Approach: A flexible and professional approach towards work.
- Positive Attitude: A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: A good understanding of Health and Safety and safe working practices.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Warehouse Experience: Experience of working within a warehouse/relevant industrial experience and shift work.
- Reach and Counterbalance Licence: A Reach and Counterbalance Licence.
- LLOP and PPT Licence: Experience of LLOP and PPT/Licence.
