Company Overview:

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This role will focus on managing supply chain operations effectively and ensuring seamless delivery processes.


Position Summary:

The Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee a designated portfolio, serving as the primary contact for all supply chain-related matters. The role emphasizes timely delivery through strategic planning while maintaining essential ERP and support systems. You will proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve any delivery challenges.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the planning cycle to develop a reliable plan that meets customer demands, considering inventory, logistics, and storage needs.
  • Ensure pre-production tasks are completed to maintain the system with accurate data, facilitating effective supply plans.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to manage their order books and project plans, making informed decisions to align with business priorities.
  • Possess a solid understanding of load and capacity factors that may impact the supply chain's ability to meet plans and propose solutions.
  • Recognize the implications of inventory logistics across the value stream and optimize inventory levels while minimizing delivery risks and costs.
  • Provide comprehensive responses to any Sales and Operations Planning inquiries through the Demand Management process.
  • Participate in necessary business and operational reviews to assess the capability to meet demand requirements and manage actions to mitigate risks.
  • Comply with relevant policies and procedures as outlined and adhere to the Risk and Revenue Management System (RRMS).

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A degree or relevant professional qualification (e.g., APICS) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning and control is essential.
  • Familiarity with managing load capacity is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle deliveries and make balanced business decisions in challenging situations.
  • Understanding of various roles and processes (e.g., Manufacturing, Purchasing, New Product Introduction, Quality).
  • Ability to take ownership of personal development.
  • Working knowledge of MRP and/or ERP systems is advantageous.

Security Clearance:
This position necessitates the successful candidate to possess a minimum of Security Check (SC) clearance without any restrictions. Due to the nature of the work and the protection of specific assets, candidates must be UK nationals or, in approved cases, Dual Nationals from non-ITAR countries.
