About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Volunteering and Community Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our property team at Killerton, one of the National Trust's largest special places.
Key Responsibilities
- Support volunteer managers across the property in improving the volunteer experience and increasing support in targeted ways.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to volunteering, community engagement, and partnership working.
- Build effective and collaborative relationships with property leadership peers and their teams, and partners.
- Lead the development of an inclusive culture and embed the 'Everyone Welcome' value.
- Support the General Manager in developing and implementing the property business plan.
Requirements
- Understanding of good practice in volunteering, volunteer recruitment, and volunteer management.
- Experience of community engagement, participation, and partnership working.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislative requirements relating to the role.
- Able to build effective and collaborative relationships with property leadership peers and their teams, and partners.
