About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Northern Healthcare in Solihull. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live a full and independent life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Support residents with medication management and appointments.
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage with their local community.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and safeguarding policies.
Requirements
  • Experience working in mental health, learning disability, or challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide person-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant software applications.
