About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care in Birmingham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence, and supporting them to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, engage in social activities, and participate in leisure pursuits.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a dynamic team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license
  • Resilience, flexibility, and composure in approach
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors
  • Ability to follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs
