Are you looking for a remarkable career path that ensures a healthy work-life balance? We present a unique opportunity for an Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon to join a specialist RCVS accredited small animal hospital located in a delightful market town in West Yorkshire.

This facility has been a cornerstone of the community for over 21 years, featuring spacious consultation areas, two distinct wards, and state-of-the-art medical equipment, including Digital X-ray facilities, an onsite CT scanner, an in-house laboratory, three expansive theatres, and a visiting MRI scanner.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals, including a skilled nursing staff and an exceptional client support team. Your role will encompass managing a diverse orthopaedic caseload, including fractures, TPLOs, and intricate soft tissue surgeries, while providing outstanding clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures. Adherence to the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance is essential.

The ideal candidate will hold RCVS registration and possess experience in small animal surgery, with the capability to perform TPLO/TTAs or equivalent procedures, fracture repairs, and complex soft tissue surgeries. Demonstrating clinical leadership and effective teamwork is crucial. Experience in supporting nurse consultations and understanding the impact of Schedule 3 procedures on clinic performance and efficiency is highly valued.
