The facility is purpose-built for the treatment of orthopaedic and spinal issues, serving the community for over two decades. It features spacious consultation areas, dedicated wards, and advanced equipment including Digital X-ray capabilities, an onsite CT scanner, an in-house lab, multiple surgical theatres, and access to a visiting MRI scanner.
You will collaborate with a supportive group of veterinary professionals, including a dedicated nursing team and exceptional client support staff. Your role will involve managing a diverse orthopaedic caseload, encompassing fractures, TPLOs, and intricate soft tissue surgeries, while ensuring the highest level of clinical care during consultations and procedures. Adherence to regulatory, practice, and operational standards is essential.
The ideal candidate will hold RCVS registration and possess experience in small animal surgery, particularly in performing TPLO/TTAs or equivalent procedures, fracture repairs, and complex soft tissue surgeries. Demonstrated clinical leadership and effective teamwork skills are crucial. Experience in supporting nurse consultations and understanding the impact of Schedule 3 procedures on clinic performance is highly valued.
