Are you looking for a rewarding career that promotes a healthy work-life balance? We present a remarkable opportunity for an Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon to become part of a distinguished RCVS accredited small animal facility.

This state-of-the-art establishment, dedicated to orthopaedic and spinal care, has been serving the community for over two decades. It boasts spacious consultation areas, separate wards, and modern equipment including Digital X-ray capabilities, an onsite CT scanner, a fully equipped laboratory, multiple operating theatres, and access to a visiting MRI scanner.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals, including a skilled nursing staff and an exceptional client support team. Your role will involve managing a diverse orthopaedic caseload, including fractures, TPLOs, and intricate soft tissue surgeries, while providing outstanding clinical care during consultations and procedures. Adherence to the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance is essential.

The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered and possess experience in small animal surgery, with proficiency in performing TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, fracture repairs, and complex soft tissue procedures. Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are crucial. Experience in supporting nurse consultations and understanding the impact of Schedule 3 procedures on clinic performance and efficiency is also required.
