Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Community Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join our team in North West London. As a Senior Regional MSK Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in supporting patients by providing continuity of care, facilitating the wellbeing of your colleagues, and advancing your career as a clinician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse 100% MSK caseload, including office workers, private medical insurance customers, NHS patients, and those with accident-related injuries.
  • Support patients by providing continuity of care when their usual therapist is away, preventing unnecessary delays and maximizing rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Facilitate the wellbeing of your colleagues by providing essential cover.
  • Develop and implement effective management plans, utilizing cutting-edge technology and tools to enhance clinical skills.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager, Physiotherapy Development Lead, and Clinical Mentor to ensure success in day-to-day clinic activities and long-term goals.
Requirements
  • Strong neuromusculoskeletal knowledge and skills, underpinned with clinical reasoning from a critical perspective.
  • Core standards of physiotherapy practice and code of conduct outlined by the HCPC.
  • Excellent IT skills and computer literacy.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal patient communication skills.
  • Appreciation of ethical obligations in physiotherapy, with a strong sense of professional integrity.
  • Understanding of safety and legal obligations, including patient rights and consent.
  • Knowledge of any emerging clinical knowledge or contemporary best practice.
  • Comfortable with operating in unfamiliar environments on a day-to-day basis.
  • Significant experience (minimum 3 years within MSK Physiotherapy) of conducting initial assessments, providing diagnosis, and prescribing effective management plans.
  • Track record of working and communicating effectively with patients.
  • Using communication skills effectively and working collaboratively as part of a team or with other physiotherapists.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with evidence of producing well-structured written documents or reports.
  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree of 2:2 or above.
  • Full Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) membership with no investigations or disciplinary actions pending.
  • Level 7 HEI credits through MSK related post-graduate courses.
  • Portfolio of evidence of CPD supporting professional and personal development.
