Academic Lecturer in Classical Archaeology

Role Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of Classical Archaeology, working closely with the academic staff at St John's College University of Oxford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess students in Classical Archaeology, including lectures, tutorials, and coursework
- Develop and deliver curriculum materials, including syllabi and assessment plans
- Contribute to the development of the department's research agenda and academic programs
- Provide academic guidance and support to students, including advising on course selection and career development
- Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and working groups
Requirements:
- PhD in Classical Archaeology or a related field
- Proven teaching and research experience in Classical Archaeology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced academic environment
