Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our team in Burton upon Trent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and ensuring the efficient delivery of bus services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the traffic office and supervisory team
- Responsible for first-line driver management
- Carry out driver appraisals and direct report appraisals
- Oversee allocation of work
- Manage lost mileage and network issues
- Manage punctuality
- Manage direct reports in accordance with Rotala policies and procedures
- Support the Managing Director in delivering agreed plans and budgets
We are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. To achieve this, we have established the following key performance indicators (KPIs) for our team:
- Ensure random drug testing is conducted daily
- Ensure random alcohol testing is conducted daily
- Ensure driving licence checks are conducted daily
- Ensure gate checks are conducted daily
- Ensure service monitoring is conducted daily
- Ensure depot punctuality is conducted daily
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of British Domestic Hours Rules
- A basic level of competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- A basic level of competence in the use of Omni-das and Ticketer systems
- Transport Manager CPC qualification
You will be required to work 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You may be required to work weekends and anti-social hours as well as statutory holidays. A flexible approach toward working hours is required to ensure effective cover throughout each day of operation.
