Job Summary

The Head of Service Delivery will play a critical role in managing existing contracts and supporting the procurement of new services across our Criminal Justice portfolio. This includes prisons, Immigration Removal Centres, and Sexual Assault Referral Centres.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing budgets, and contracts to deliver health engagement and health initiatives for prisoners across England. This requires an agile individual who can network, promote, and represent ABL Health Ltd at a national level to secure new contracts and maintain quality of existing services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff to facilitate patient engagement and ensure effective delivery of healthcare services.
  • Manage service resource allocation and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collect data, evaluate trends, and draft reports to inform commissioning decisions and service improvement.
  • Plan and schedule timelines of service delivery to ensure seamless execution.
  • Engage with NHS commissioners and attend quarterly contract review meetings to discuss targets and workplans.
  • Track project deliverables and outcomes according to KPIs and service specification.
  • Conduct quality assurance for delivery staff, data, and record-keeping to ensure compliance with governance policies.
  • Monitor and report on progress of the service to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with challenging groups of service users and ability to harness this experience positively.
  • Experience of facilitating engagement and managing high-performing teams across different remote locations.
  • Experience of the procurement process and ability to work with groups from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work flexibly to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with individuals, groups, organizations, and the public.
  • Proven IT skills and ability to adhere and support relevant governance policies.
