About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as Head of Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Criminal Justice Patient Engagement Service, working with prisoners and stakeholders to improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff to facilitate patient engagement and feedback.
  • Manage service resource allocation and budgeting.
  • Collate and analyze data to ensure the effectiveness of service outputs.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to healthcare concerns in the prison and criminal justice system.
  • Represent ABL Health at a national level, securing new contracts and maintaining quality of existing services.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with challenging groups of service users and facilitating engagement.
  • Knowledge of the challenges individuals in the Criminal Justice System face regarding health inequalities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work with groups from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven IT skills and ability to adhere to relevant governance policies.
