Senior Finance Assistant

Parke Lane People is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Management: Timely inputting of data into Xero, management of accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliation of company bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Payroll and Invoicing: Collection of information and changes for monthly payroll, preparation of self-billing statements, and payment runs for suppliers and introducers.
  • Financial Reporting: Reconciliation of self-billing statements received from key customers and assisting the Finance Director with regular and ad-hoc KPI reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Assisting the Finance Director with the implementation of new financial processes and controls.

Candidates should have previous accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and good systems skills, particularly in Excel. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also essential.

On offer is a competitive salary of 30-35k, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension, and a study support package (if applicable). The company has impressive centrally located offices.
