Compensation and Benefits Specialist

Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a highly analytical and adaptable Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join their HR department on a fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee and partner benefits in Workday, delivering the Workday Advanced Compensation process, and supporting the budgeting and modelling process for compensation planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of salary review meetings, timetables, and guidelines, and perform job evaluation and compensation benchmarking.
  • Support the Rewards and Benefits Manager UK in delivering the Workday Advanced Compensation process.
  • Ensure off-line salary and bonus decisions are captured in the firm's internal HR System - Workday.
  • Assist in the pay gap analysis and reporting process.
  • Ensure operational delivery of various benefit schemes and be accountable for compliance with pension auto-enrolment requirements.
  • Provide help and mentoring to the HR Advisors while continually monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's processes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successful delivery of annual salary and bonus reviews, knowledge of benefits management, and experience in using Workday Compensation and Benefits applications. They will be a highly analytical individual with a flexible approach and able to manage priorities in a high-pressure environment. Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills are essential.
