About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group in London. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex structural projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design and delivery of structural projects
  • Develop and implement design strategies to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to discuss design and technical solutions
  • Manage project budgets and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and drawings
  • Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering
  • Proven track record of cost estimation and project management
  • Prior experience working with historic buildings is highly desirable
