Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering department, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime.
  2. Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal equipment performance and efficiency.
  3. Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safe systems of work to mitigate potential hazards.
  4. Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  6. Work closely with site management to optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
  7. Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, as well as maintenance tasks, to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
  8. Monitor equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing modifications as necessary.
  9. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company health and safety procedures and statutory regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant engineering qualification, preferably electrical, and time-served experience.
  2. Proven experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  3. Knowledge of motors, drives, PLCs, gearboxes, and transmissions, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
