About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading by example, providing invaluable support to children and young people, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality care and education services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of support workers in providing care and support to children and young people
  • Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Provide supervision and guidance to support workers
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager as required

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a residential care setting
  • Qualifications in childcare or a related field (NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
  • Ability to lead a team and provide supervision and guidance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations
