Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Residential Children's Home Manager to lead a residential children's home in the East Midlands. The successful candidate will oversee the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the staff team.

  • Oversee all aspects of the residential children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.
  • Develop and implement individual care and behaviour plans, along with risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are effectively met.
  • Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Residential Children's Home Manager within a residential children's home setting.
  • Consistent Good or Outstanding Ofsted Judgements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • £50,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)
