At OpenSourced, we're seeking a talented Hydraulic Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a leader in innovative engineering solutions, we're committed to decarbonizing the marine industry through the development of cutting-edge hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers to design, validate, and test hydraulic systems for various marine industry projects.
  • Design and specify hydraulic systems, including creating schematics, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings of manifolds and other components.
  • Provide commissioning and technical support for vessels.
Requirements:
  • Higher education in a relevant field, such as Fluid Power, Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Systems.
  • NFPC (or equivalent) Hydraulics Training (we can provide training for the right candidate).
  • Strong understanding of Industrial and Mobile hydraulic systems and components.
  • Understanding of Mechanical systems.
  • Experience with CAD design, preferably Siemens NX.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with Simcenter AMEsim simulation software.
  • Knowledge of the marine industry, classification societies, and electrical systems or PLC systems.
