Hydraulic Systems Engineer Position

At Morgan Fraser Group Limited, we are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers to develop hydraulic systems for commercial, leisure, and shipping sectors of the Marine Industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and specifying hydraulic systems, from producing schematics to 3D modeling and manufacturing drawings of manifolds and other components. They will also be able to produce documentation and calculations to support designs, and have experience in modeling hydraulic systems with Simcenter AMEsim for validation of systems.

Requirements for the position include higher education within a Fluid Power, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field, as well as NFPC (or equivalent) or Hydraulics Training. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Industrial and Mobile hydraulic systems and components, as well as Mechanical systems.

Experience with CAD design, preferably Siemens NX, and creation of hydraulic schematics is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have strong experience with Microsoft office applications.

Desirable skills include experience with Simcenter AMEsim simulation software, knowledge of marine industry, classification societies, and electrical systems or PLC systems, as well as EPlan ECAD experience.
