Hydraulics Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulics Design Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative hydraulic systems for the Marine industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with our dynamic team of engineers to create cutting-edge hydraulic systems for commercial, leisure, and shipping sectors.
  2. Design and specify hydraulic systems, from producing schematics to 3D modeling and manufacturing drawings of manifolds and other components.
  3. Produce detailed documentation and calculations to support designs.
  4. Model hydraulic systems using Simcenter AMEsim for validation and testing.
  5. Develop and test hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Source and manage suppliers to meet our high standards.
  7. Commission and provide technical support for vessels.
Requirements:
  1. Higher education in a relevant field, such as Fluid Power, Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Systems.
  2. NFPC (or equivalent) Hydraulics Training (we can provide training for the right candidate).
  3. Strong understanding of Industrial and Mobile hydraulic systems and components.
  4. Knowledge of Mechanical systems and CAD design, preferably with Siemens NX.
  5. Experience in creating hydraulic schematics and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  6. Ability to work safely and effectively with hands-on tasks.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  8. Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.
