Job Title: Production Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at The Compleat Food Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate production plans, including product information, allergen data, and labor requirements.
  • Update date sheets with relevant information to ensure seamless production.
  • Analyze sales demand and forecast data to inform production decisions.
  • Prepare reports on production performance and site achievements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, including staff shortages and machinery malfunctions.
  • Determine customer requirements and liaise with NPD teams.
  • Forward plan production schedules, considering forecasts and capacity.
  • Coordinate with Transport functions to optimize trailer usage and meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • Experience in food manufacturing within an FMCG environment.
  • HACCP / Food Safety Training or basic knowledge.
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication at various levels of seniority.
  • Ability to identify solutions and improve processes.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
