About the Role

LiveWest is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Health, Safety and Assurance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our health and safety policy and ensuring that all health and safety processes and controls are in place and meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of the annual Corporate Health and Safety Priorities Plan
  • Provide regular reporting and trend analysis, ensuring controls are in place
  • Lead on corrective actions that need to be taken
  • Oversee the development and delivery of health and safety training and corporate initiatives
  • Ensure that the Corporate Health and Safety Policy is up to date and business-appropriate
  • Support the Executive Team in promoting an effective safety culture
Requirements
  • Experience gained within a similar, senior health and safety role
  • Experience managing a team of health and safety professionals
  • The ability to collaborate and engage others in health and safety
  • An in-depth understanding of health and safety management systems
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Chartered membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) (CMIOSH)
  • A visible and up-to-date Continual Professional Development (CPD) record
  • Internal auditor certification
  • APS CDM Management certification
