Head of Health and Safety
Job Summary:The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety professional to lead the H&S team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance and safety for colleagues, working within the Clinical Directorate to drive forward the H&S agenda.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and mitigate non-clinical hazards and risks.
- Develop and implement Trust H&S strategy, policy, and management systems.
- Provide overall assurance on health and safety matters up to Board level.
- Develop a culture of safe working practices.
- Conduct periodic audits of health and safety management systems.
- Provide analyses of health and safety records and reports.
