Join Our Team as a Graduate Health and Safety Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Kier Group. As a Graduate Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Support the development and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Undertake health and safety advisory visits, inspections, and audits where required for operational sites.
  • Help with the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and assist in preparing reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, and provide guidance to staff on safety practices.
  • Assist in the delivery of health and safety training programs and awareness sessions for employees.

Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and recommend effective safety measures.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain safety procedures and engage with staff.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage and maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
