Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Play Development Practitioner to join our dedicated Childcare Team. This role is pivotal in fostering and enhancing play experiences for children, young people, and their families within the Perth and Kinross area.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Facilitate a diverse range of engaging play activities for children and families during both term-time and holiday periods.
  • Deliver interactive play sessions primarily in educational settings and community venues.
  • Coordinate and evaluate play provision, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Develop innovative resources and training to enhance the delivery of play services.
  • Promote the significance of play for the overall health and development of children and families.
  • Encourage family involvement in play, fostering skills and confidence.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 30 hours per week, with flexibility in working hours, including potential evening and weekend engagements.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess relevant qualifications such as SNNEB, NNEB, SVQ3 in Playwork, Care Learning and Development, Early Education and Childcare, or similar credentials in Childcare and Education.

Additionally, a valid UK driving license is essential for transporting play resources across the area.
