About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Glenholme Healthcare Ltd. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support care staff in providing daily living assistance, including personal care, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Lead a team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of empathy, kindness, and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care, such as NVQ/QCF Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Experience in care settings, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to care delivery.
