About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Change Manager to lead the integration of two institutions following a recent merger. As a key member of our Change Support Unit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by driving strategic change initiatives that enhance both the student and staff experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the change management plan to achieve key milestones in the integration process.
  • Lead change-related activities to deliver the post-merger Integration Plan.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate change management into the overall plan.
  • Monitor progress, adjust strategies, and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training and development sessions to support staff through the transition.
  • Identify potential risks and develop plans to mitigate resistance.
  • Coach and support senior leaders and managers in adopting new ways of working.
What You'll Need
  • Essential: A first degree or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., Prosci/APMG) or significant relevant work experience.
  • Essential: Proven experience in managing change in mergers or large-scale transformations within complex organizations.
  • Desirable: Experience in the higher education sector or public sector (e.g., NHS).
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
