Job Opportunity at Henderson Scott

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect to join our team at Henderson Scott. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in the development and production of our product range.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain a broad engineering experience, engage with partners, coordinate technology specialists, and develop advanced systems engineering techniques. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement complex systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain system architectures, ensuring they align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and test complex systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Conduct system integration and testing, ensuring seamless interactions between components.
  • Develop and implement system design and development methodologies, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve our systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in systems engineering, with a strong background in system design, development, and integration.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of system architecture, design, and development methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
