Domestic Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Domestic Assistant to join our Facilities Team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our service users and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for cleaning all areas in accordance with the National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) national standards of cleanliness.
- Collect and dispose of daily rubbish and recyclables.
- Undertake the washing up of mealtime dishes.
- Responsible for opening and closing buildings as required.
- Inform Porters/Security of any security breaches.
- Order cleaning materials as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Report any faults or issues to the Domestic Supervisor.
- Provide details of any untoward incidents to the Administrative/Senior Nursing Team.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a good understanding of cleaning services.
- Is able to accept and prioritise instructions.
- Has previous experience in Domestic Services and/or catering.
- Has previous experience in dealing with the public.
Please note that applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following completion of the check. We encourage applicants to enrol for the DBS Update Service, which costs a small annual fee of £13 per year.
