Key Responsibilities- Responsible for cleaning all areas in accordance with national standards of cleanliness and the approved cleaning schedule.
- Collect and dispose of daily rubbish and recyclables.
- Undertake the washing up of mealtime dishes and utensils.
- Open and close buildings as required, ensuring security and safety protocols are followed.
- Report any security breaches or incidents to the relevant authorities.
- Order cleaning materials and equipment as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Bring any faults or issues to the attention of the domestic supervisor.
- Provide details of any untoward incidents to administrative or senior nursing staff.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a good understanding of cleaning services and procedures.
- Is able to accept and prioritise instructions.
- Has previous experience in domestic services and/or catering (desirable).
- Has previous experience in dealing with the public (desirable).
Please note that applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following completion of the check. We encourage applicants to enrol for the DBS Update Service, which costs a small annual fee of £13 per year.
