Risk & Performance Analyst (Multi-Asset)

Job Summary

Mason Blake is seeking a highly skilled Risk & Performance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our investment management sector, you will be responsible for analyzing investment risk and performance related material.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain performance attribution models to explain portfolio returns
  • Provide detailed analysis of investment risk and performance to portfolio managers
  • Collaborate with the IT department to streamline data collection processes
  • Assist in the development of risk-related tasks such as VaR, stress testing, and scenario analysis
  • Prepare ad hoc and RFP reports as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience in performance calculations and attribution analysis
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (VBA preferred) and Factset
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of performance and attribution product trends, including GIPS
