Job Summary
Mason Blake is seeking a highly skilled Risk & Performance Analyst to join our investment management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing investment risk and performance-related material, providing attribution analysis, and supporting portfolio managers in their decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain performance attribution models to explain portfolio returns
- Provide data-driven insights to portfolio managers to inform investment decisions
- Collaborate with the investment risk manager to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Assist in the development of risk management strategies and policies
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and prepare reports as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in performance calculations and attribution analysis
- Strong knowledge of Excel (VBA preferred) and data analysis tools
- Working knowledge of Factset and other investment data platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
