Performance Analyst

Mason Blake is seeking a skilled Performance Attribution Analyst to join their high-performing Performance team on a permanent basis.
About the RoleThe Performance Attribution Analyst will be responsible for carrying out performance calculation, measurement, and comprehensive assessment of investment performance across the full range of products.
Key Responsibilities- Support the timely and accurate calculation of performance analysis across a range of funds
- Analyse and effectively communicate the drivers of this performance to the investment teams
- Assist in ongoing projects to implement new strategic performance analysis tools
- Assist the RFP team with requests from sales prospects for ad hoc analysis of performance and ex-post risk enquiries
- Assist in the centralisation, standardisation, production, and review of performance and ex post risk reporting
- Experience in a performance role at an investment management firm is essential
- Good knowledge of the calculation of contribution and attribution analysis
- Exposure to fixed income and derivative instruments
- Strong Excel skills as well as experience using a performance system, such as SimCorp, Factset, or Morningstar
- A high degree of numeracy
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and written
