About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Performance and Risk Analyst to join our team within the Wealth Management division. As a key member of our performance and risk team, you will work closely with analysts and the wider middle office department to support the front office, investment team, and senior management with performance measurement, attribution analysis, and monitoring data.

You will have an entrepreneurial spirit and work with the business to develop and improve our processes to drive efficiencies and enhance our investment performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide long and short-term performance statistics from internal systems or first principles as appropriate.
  2. Conduct contribution/attribution analysis to support investment decisions.
  3. Calculate ex-post risk measures to ensure portfolio stability.
  4. Supply performance and asset allocation data to third parties.
  5. Respond to ad-hoc performance queries from the front office and investment team.
  6. Assist with relevant projects, including system upgrades, acquisitions, and new initiatives.
  7. Help streamline processes and create procedural documentation.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a performance or similar role.
  • A strong mathematical background and excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • An interest in Wealth Management and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with VBA in Excel.
  • Knowledge of market data systems (LIPPER/Morningstar/DataStream).
  • Knowledge of third-party performance systems (Style Analytics/EIKON).
