Job Title: Collections & Arrears Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Collections and Arrears Specialist to join our team at Davies Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and supporting customers who fall into arrears and show early warning signs of distressed debt.

Your Role:
  • Identify and support customers who are experiencing financial difficulties and are at risk of defaulting on their loans.
  • Work closely with the Recoveries team to manage cases where the appointment of an LPA Receiver or Administrator is likely.
  • Support customers with short-term payment difficulties using forbearance strategies that are in the best interests of the customer and the bank.
  • Manage all cases where the appointment of an LPA Receiver or Administrator is likely, by agreeing repayment strategies and liaising closely with the Recoveries team.
Your Essential Skills:
  • Experience within Financial Services, with a focus on commercial collections and arrears.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, solicitors, and insolvency practitioners.
  • Understanding of and expertise in Treating Customers Fairly and dealing with vulnerable lending customers.
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate a heavy workload with colleagues.
