Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to join our team at Custom Intelligent Security. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Collaborate with our project managers to develop and implement commissioning plans, ensuring seamless project transitions and timely delivery.
  • System Testing: Conduct thorough system testing, verify system performance, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Client Interaction: Provide exceptional technical support during client meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of tests, modifications, and system configurations.

Required Skills:

  • Certifications: Genetec (Omnicast and Synergis) and other relevant industry certifications.
  • Technical: Strong knowledge of security products, SQL, networking, Windows troubleshooting, and SaaS platforms.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, experience with structured cabling systems, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, a can-do attitude, adaptability, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Desired Skills:

  • Additional Certifications: Lenel, Gallagher, CCURE 9000, AXIS, MCSE, CCNA, and other relevant industry certifications.
  • Programming: Proficiency in MS SQL, JavaScript, Python, C++, PowerShell, SDKs, APIs, and other relevant programming languages.
