Company Overview:

Our client is a leading OEM specializing in high-speed robotic packaging machines for the Food, Process, Pharmaceutical, and Cosmetics industries. Their cutting-edge pick & place machines and end-of-line (EOL) packaging systems are known for efficiency and precision, making them a top choice in the industry.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of robotic packaging machines and EOL packaging lines across the UK and Ireland. This is a multi-skilled role where your primary focus will be on electrical systems, including servo drives and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations, maintenance, and repair work on robotic packaging machines and EOL packaging lines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure machinery operates at optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of robotic packaging machines and EOL packaging systems.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong electrical bias with experience in servo drives and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
